Changing the name of your GovernorHub board

If the name of your overall GovernorHub board account needs to be updated or changed, you'll need to contact us either via the chat button or at support@governorhub.com.

We can then update this for you.

References to the Governing Board

When you first start using GovernorHub, the system refers to your board or group as a Governing Board or Trust Board by default. This appears as a tab on your page.

However, you may wish to change how GovernorHub refers to your board or group.

Only board admins will be able to update this.

Changing how GovernorHub refers to your board or group

To change how your board or group is referred to, you'll need to:

  • Click on the About tab

  • Select the Settings tab

  • Click on the Edit option

This will open a new box.

  • Type in how your board or group should be referred to

  • Click Update

GovernorHub will then update, to reflect your change throughout the site.

Changing how GovernorHub refers to your linked boards and groups

If you have any additional linked boards or groups, they are called Local Boards by default.

You also have the option to edit how GovernorHub refers to these groups.

You'll need to:

  • Go to the About tab

  • Select Settings

  • Click on the Edit button next to the text for Local Boards

In the new box:

  • Type in your preferred name for the Local Boards

  • Click Update

GovernorHub will then update to reflect your change throughout the site.
