You don't need to download documents to view them - you can simply click on a document's name to view it using GovernorHub's built-in document viewer.
But if you do want to download a document to your computer, there are a number of ways you can do this.
Downloading from the menu
To download an individual file or folder from the documents section, click on the three-dot menu to the right-hand side of the file/folder, and select Download.
Note: If a document has downloading disabled, you won't see this option. See the section below for more information.
Downloading a document from the viewer
When viewing a document using GovernorHub's built-in document viewer, you can click on the Download button in the top right corner to download the file to your computer.
Note: If a document has downloading disabled, you won't see this button. See the section below for more information.
Downloading all the documents in a folder
To download all the files in the folder you're in, click on the dropdown arrow next to the name of the folder in the breadcrumb trail and select Download.
To download the entire contents of the documents section, click on the dropdown arrow next to the board's name.
Documents with downloading disabled
Admins for your board can choose to disable the downloading option for certain files. This means that the files can be viewed in the built-in document viewer, but cannot be downloaded by anyone on the board.
