In the Constitution page, click on the three dots to the right-hand side of the vacancy. Select the button asking you to ‘Assign a {Local Authority} governor’ . A new window will allow you to select a board member to assign to the vacancy. Hit Save to finish.

You can also assign member types in the Members tab.
