How to book governors onto training sessions, and how to cancel their bookings

Governors can book themselves onto courses

Once you have created a live training session, this will become available for your governors to book onto, directly from the Training tab in your trust resources or service area.

Governors will be able to search for available sessions, and can book themselves onto a session by using the Book a place button.

Adding governors directly to sessions

Your administrators can book someone directly onto a training session, by locating the session in your training account.

Click into the session, and you will find the options to add delegates in the right hand column. If the delegate uses GovernorHub already, use the Add GovernorHub delegates box and begin to type their name or email address there - the system should locate them, and you can click on their details to add them to the session.

If a delegate does not use GovernorHub, use the Add a non-GovernorHub delegate option to invite them to the session using their email address.

In either case, their details will be added to the delegates list and governors will automatically be sent an email confirming their booking.

Removing governors from sessions

To cancel someone's booking and remove them from the delegate list, click on Remove beneath their name.

The delegate will then be emailed to say their booking has been cancelled.

Governors can also request a booking cancellation from their Training tab.

Once requested, your trust or service will receive an email with the details, and the request will show in red in the delegate list. Your administrators can then remove the governor as requested.
