How to add DBS certificate details to GovernorHub

Overview

DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate details can be recorded on GovernorHub either by members themselves or by administrators.

Recording Your Own DBS Information

  1. Go to your Profile page by clicking your name in the top corner of the screen.

  2. Select the ‘Profile’ option from the dropdown menu.

  3. Locate the ‘Governor Information’ section on your profile page.

  4. Click on ‘Edit governor information’ to access the editing form.

  • Fill in the following details:

    • Your DBS reference number.

    • Confirm that the DBS check has been reviewed by your board admin.

    • The date the check was completed.

  • Click ‘Update’ to save your changes.

Recording or Editing DBS Information as an Admin

  1. Navigate to the Members tab and find the relevant member.

  2. Click the arrow next to their name, then select ‘View their Full Profile’ beneath.

  3. From their profile page, choose ‘Edit Additional Information’.

  4. Add or edit their DBS details as needed, then save your changes.

Recording Multiple DBS Details

  • If a member has DBS checks from more than one school, you can record multiple DBS reference numbers in the ‘Reference Number’ field.

  • Separate the entries with commas without spaces.

  • Format:

    • Example: E1234567890(01/09/20),E0987654321(05/09/21).
